What is the Agvets Apprenticeship Program?
“Veterans Farming Through Adversity” (nicknamed AgVets) is a national partnership between Farmer Veteran Coalition and four (4) certified agricultural training and apprenticeship programs. These programs help provide the base of knowledge and experience necessary to become a productive member of our agricultural community. These opportunities span 18 states and a variety of different focus areas and commodities. Each program has been vetted by FVC staff to ensure it provides a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience that addresses multiple aspects of farming and farm management, including farm operations, business development, market analysis, and commodity-specific information.
