Tyler and Brandi are both United States Air Force veterans having served overseas in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. They have a background in fuels, food service, and healthcare.

L4 Family Farm LLC is a small family, veteran-owned/operated farm situated in Creal Springs, Illinois, dedicated to pasture-raised pigs and direct to consumer pork products. L4Family Farm is focused on sustainability, quality, and community. By integrating rotationally
grazed livestock, we aim to enhance soil health, promote biodiversity, and provide fresh, nutritious and affordable food to our local community.

Tyler and Brandi have been in the agriculture business since 2024. They chose agriculture and raising meat because they saw a need for a local food system in their community. Over the years it has become clear that the country has gotten further and further from its roots of farming and providing for each other. Contributing to their local system provides families in their community with access to fresh local foods and helps combat the reliance on grocery stores and food insecurity within the community.
