Miller's Bee Kind Farm is a 7-acre micro-farm consisting of 150 laying chickens that provides for local grocery stores. 2 apiary locations that provide honey products that they sell at their local farmers markets, along with a variety of baked goods, jams and jellies. They also grow a variety of vegetables from seed to market with all natural non-chemical processes and sold fresh at their local farmers markets.
Gene's transition into agriculture was actually an extensive period after service that he would eventually dedicate to be his full-time job and passion. He has been involved in agriculture and growing most of his life. It was later PTSD that started his interest in bees and it would grew from there.
