Biography

Stacey served 15 years in the United States Army as a Transportation Operator. During her military career, she deployed twice to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where she conducted combat support and logistics operations in a deployed environment.

"The Farmer Veteran Coalition has had a significant impact on both my life and my agricultural business. As a military veteran transitioning into agriculture, the organization has provided valuable resources, education, networking opportunities, and support from other veterans who understand the challenges of building a farm business."

Stacey grows a diverse selection of fresh vegetables, herbs, and fruits using sustainable growing practices that focus on soil health, environmental stewardship, and producing nutritious food for her community. Her farm specializes in seasonal produce for farmers markets and direct-to-consumer sales.

After her military service, Stacey was searching for a new sense of purpose and a way to continue serving others. Agriculture provided that opportunity. After years of deployments, high-stress environments, and public service, she found peace and healing in working the land.

"Farming allows me to continue serving others in a different but equally meaningful way. During my military career, my mission was to support and protect people. Today, my mission is to provide my community with safe, healthy, locally grown food. Being an American farmer means being a steward of the land, a provider for my community, and part of a tradition that helps sustain our nation. It means working hard every day to produce food that families can trust while caring for the soil, water, and resources that future generations will depend on."
