Biography

Hello! It's important to know where your food comes from, so Tiny Patch Homestead farmers introduce themselves!

👩‍🌾 Brianna - After high school, I spent 5 years in the Army as a medic. Afterwards, I realized that I wanted to do something to continue to bring fulfillment and purpose in my life. I interned at a local organic vegetable farm, learning much about large scale production. It confirmed that, "yes, I want to be a farmer!" With some time and courage, we bit the bullet and opened our farm stand this past July. My farm chores include caring for the chickens, checking the beehive, growing and harvesting the veggies and posting to social media. I also have a full time off-farm job that fills the rest of my day. If and when we get a break, I enjoy planning my next year's garden, hiking, and hanging out with Ryan and my friends.

🧑‍🌾 Ryan - Born and raised in Arkansas, where we met. He is the muscle and the architect behind many of my ideas for the farm. His main farm chores are weed pulling, carpentry, and mowing our grass pathways and orchard. He helps me with building, planning, and prioritizing my farm dreams. He also manages to have a very full time off-farm job that he dedicates much of his time to as well. If and when we get a break, he enjoys biking, kayaking, and being outdoors.

🐶 Stella - The best, most motivated, cutest, funniest, sweetest farm dog you ever will meet (we are not biased...). She thoroughly enjoys chasing all of the bunnies, deer, and occasional chicken from the garden and lounging around as I harvest the veggies or work on the farm stand. In her spare time she likes to find dead things to roll in or take beauty naps.

We care deeply about having healthy food and knowing where it comes from. It's not possible to get that perfect - I'm talking about you, pizza... but to be able to provide a source for our family and community is something we take pride in. We grow all organic, heirloom seed for our vegetables and we hope you can see and taste the difference that homegrown brings. We are so appreciative of our community of supporters and look forward to growing our farm's offerings!
