Join the Farmer Veteran Coalition
The Farmer Veteran Fellowship Fund is a small grant program that provides direct assistance to veterans who are in their beginning years of farming or ranching. Awards range from $1,000 to $5,000. The 2020 application will open on February 3rd!

Training programs are formalized programs centered on a curriculum, which typically provides both classroom and hands-on education. Some training programs are accredited and others provide certifications for specific skills.

Financing Your Farm
Before financing your farm, you first need to ask yourself:
- Do I have the training and experience necessary to succeed?
- Do I have clear goals, a detailed business plan, and a budget for next season?
- Do I know how much money I need and exactly how I want to use it?
- Are my personal finances stable enough to be able to take this risk?
If you can answer yes to all of these questions, then you may be ready to finance your farm.
