The Center for Land-Based Learning offers a structured pathway to train for a fulfilling career in farm management through their California Farm Academy Apprenticeship Program which is offered statewide. Apprentices are connected with seasoned farm employers for two years of paid hands-on training, while receiving foundational knowledge in ag production through free courses. Apprentices also participate in peer-to-peer learning and leadership training – all fundamental to becoming a farm manager!
