Farmer Veteran Coalition Expands, Adds Four New State Chapters

The Farmer Veteran Coalition (FVC) is happy to announce that four new state chapters have been recognized. The four new chapters are Alaska, Massachusetts, Mississippi, and Oregon.

As the FVC membership continues to grow, so does the need for more state chapters. FVC’s state chapters provide a more local and personalized support for FVC members, allowing them to assist each member for their individual needs, as well as raise funds to support Farmer Veterans through programs such as the Fellowship Fund.

Statewide chapters provide FVC with the capability to integrate veterans into local agricultural communities. Such support includes:

  • Bridging the gap between a nationally driven movement of farmer veterans and the state and county-level resources that will help them achieve success in agriculture.
  • Connecting with members for their specific individual needs.
  • Offering an additional way for FVC to personalize the farmer veteran experience.

“As our chapter network expands, so does our ability to reach more veterans, foster stronger communities, and help build a vibrant future for American agriculture,” said Jeanette Lombardo, CEO for the Farmer Veteran Coalition. “We are incredibly excited about what these new chapters will accomplish and proud to stand alongside them as they continue the tradition of service through farming.”

The Presidents for the newly added chapters:

Everyone at the Farmer Veteran Coalition looks forward to seeing how the newly added state chapters will support their local Farmer Veterans in achieving success in their agricultural endeavors.
