NEW! JUST LAUNCHED – CONFERENCE WEBSITE!

Farmer Veteran Coalition is excited to announce the 2019 Farmer Veteran Stakeholders Conference will be held November 17-20 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Austin in Austin, Texas.

This year’s conference is the fifth national gathering of the farmer veteran community and will feature two days of education, distinguished speakers, guest panels, networking and more.

“The most common addresses of our veteran members are rural route and county road,” said FVC Founder and Director Michael O’Gorman. “Our community of farmer veterans, whether they live far from town or in town, benefit greatly from the chance to meet each other and share ideas in person at our national conference.”

On November 17, the day before the conference officially begins, a special meal will be held at Ranger Cattle, a Homegrown By Heroes certified Wagyu beef operation owned by Army veteran Josh Eilers. The optional early dinner, which includes food and a ranch tour, is open to all attendees.

A meeting for existing and prospective state chapters will be held November 20. This meeting brings state chapter representatives together to share successes and best practices, while providing those who are interested in establishing a chapter with more information about the process.

More information about the agenda, registration fees and farmer veteran scholarships will be announced in the coming weeks.

Conference room rate is $119/night (plus 15.75% tax). Be sure to click on “Add special rate codes” to enter the group code “FVC.” You may call (800) 866-3126 to make reservations under the group name FVC 2019 Stakeholders Conference.
