You have probably seen and looked at the job search board posted on farmvetco.org. If you are a job seeker or in a position as an employer needing to hire, below are some additional steps to follow to make use of the FVC and AgCareers.com partnership.
If you are a Job Seeker, here are the steps to follow to maximize your effort with AgCareers.com
- Set up a profile on AgCareers.com
- Select Farmer Veteran Coalition when asked.
- Also select Ag Warriors. Ag Warriors is a program AgCareers.com has with a number of their Employer clients, with preference to hiring those with military service. Making this selection will make you searchable by this group.
- Post your resume.
- Make your resume searchable by employers.
- If you need assistance, please email agcareers@agcareers.com with FVC-Job Seeker in the subject line. Or call them at 800-929-8975, identify yourself as a Farmer Veteran Coalition member. Identifying yourself as an FVC member, will help AgCareers.com direct you to the right support person ready to assist you.
If you are an Employer looking for candidates to hire, here are the steps to follow to receive a discounted rate for posting your job(s) with AgCareers.com
- Set up an Employer Profile.
- Review the Job Posting packages and email agcareers@agcareers.com with FVC-Employer in the subject line.
- In the email, tell them which package you are considering to meet your needs and they will send you a special discounted rate for being an FVC Member. Please note: the discount rate will vary depending on the package you choose. In one example, the option that is $375, will drop to $150 with your FVC discount code.
