It’s annual meeting season for FVC Chapters! Annual meetings can serve multiple purposes, including the board of director elections, evaluating programs, assessing progress towards achieving chapter goals, reviewing financials, setting the budget, and setting goals for the upcoming year.
The FVC North Carolina Chapter held their annual meeting on February 24th in Raleigh, NC. Held at the Farm Bureau building, this group reviewed the past years activities as well as planned the next.
FVC Tennessee Chapter’s annual meeting was well attended! On Feb 17th, their annual meeting was held in conjunction with the Pick Tennessee Conference in Franklin, Tennessee. It was time well spent connecting and networking with other farmer veterans. In addition, the Pick TN Conference offered great educational and networking opportunities for an even larger group of Tennessee farmers at the same time.
The South Carolina chapter held a great event at the Phillips Market Center in Columbia. On February 11th, the 2023 South Carolina Farmer Veteran Symposium hosted a wide range of agricultural resource providers, provided lunch and had a number of speakers and presenters. This event was well attended and open to all military, veterans, and family members involved in agriculture.
