Farmer Veteran Coalition Welcomes Nebraska as Newest FVC State Chapter

welcome nebraska as newest fvc state chapter

The Farmer Veteran Coalition is pleased to add Nebraska to its growing list of state chapters. The FVC State Chapters provide a means of grassroots support for farmer veterans within each chapter’s territory.

FVC chapters help to bridge the gap between a nationally-driven movement of farmer veterans and the state and county-level resources that will help them achieve success in agriculture. Chapters offer an additional way for us to personalize the farmer veteran experience.

Farmer Veteran Coalition of Nebraska was officially recognized last month in March. With a mission to assist farmer veterans through “learning and sharing of knowledge of agricultural opportunities and benefits in Nebraska,” they are excited to get started.

“We are very excited to officially start up as a chapter, said Robert Godfrey, a member of the FVC Nebraska leadership team. “We look forward to coordinating and making sure members know about opportunities in Nebraska.”

During their first year in operation, FVC Nebraska plans on creating and growing partnerships within the state. They also have several in-person events planned across the state. To keep in touch and to join the chapter, follow them on Facebook and reach out to them via nebraskainfo@farmvetco.org.
