Job DescriptionFlour Blender – Hudson, NYThis is a full-time, hourly position.Position Summary:The role of Flour Blender is responsible for the following duties: Follow all safety policies and proceduresFollow all food safety and quality policies and proceduresMonitor bin space and properly bin flourBlend flour to meet customer specificationsTake blend line and mill samples to monitor the flour specificationsMaintaining a clean work environment in your departmentOther duties as assigned by managementMust be available to work different shifts, overtime, and weekends, as neededCandidates must have the ability to understand direction and accomplish detailed tasksJob Requirements: Experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong attendance and safety performance are mandatoryStrong safety aptitude and work ethicStrong attention to quality and detailModerate computer experience is a plusAbility lift up to 50 lbs. on a routine basisAbility to stand and be on your feet for long periods of timeAbility to work in confined spaces and at heightsWork in a variety of environmental conditions, such as hot and cold temperatures, and a dusty work environment
