With a customer-first mindset, we make doing business with McCain easy.  About the role. McCain Foods is accepting applications for a IQF Cutter Operator position, to work a 12-hour [day/night] shift at the Burley, Idaho plant. IQF Cutter Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining specialty IQF cutting equipment in a manner that ensures quality potato products are produced for final packaging.  What you’ll be doing.  Keeps work area clean and orderly. Assists in general and special clean up as required. Takes necessary precautions and follows all hygiene and sanitation rules to avoid microbial contamination of product. Communicates problems or changes in production or quality to appropriate personnel. Promotes and adheres to company safety regulations. Understands and adheres to the concepts and techniques of the quality process in order to assure a quality operation. Helps to build and promote a strong “Teamwork” environment in each individual work group, the Factory and the Company. May be required to participate in a continuous improvement process, such as an Employee Involvement Team.  What you’ll need to be successful.  Operates cutters in a manner that obtains proper cut uniformity and maximum utilization of the whole potato Determines need to replace cutter blades and takes appropriate action Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing cutting equipment and related line equipment per sanitation procedures. Disassembles and reassembles equipment for sanitation purposes Monitors conveyors, shakers and related line equipment. Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment. Clears line jams or plug ups when necessary  Benefits of the role. Hourly rate: $19.96 – $22.17  $1.50 shift differential for graveyard positions.  Set schedule for entire calendar year  Paid Holidays  Paid Time Off  Health, vision, and dental insurance premiums are 100% paid by McCain Foods for employees, spouse, and qualifying dependents  401k with employer match  HSA  Adoption Assistance  Infertility Assistance  Education Reimbursement Assistance  Paid Maternity and Paternity Leave   About McCain Click Here to learn more about McCain and how we provide you with opportunities to make an impact that matters.  Leadership principles. At McCain, our leadership principles guide how we engage with customers, collaborate as a team, and achieve success.
