This hands-on internship offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in swine production while working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and innovative environment.Hours: Onsite, Monday through Friday 6am – 4:30 p.m.Compensation: Competitive hourly wage provided.Essential Job Functions: As a Production Farm Intern, you will: Participate in a variety of farm projects including: Daily animal care and welfareData collection and record keepingAssisting with farrowing and piglet careGeneral barn maintenance and biosecurity practicesLearn about sow farm operations, production flow, and team collaboration.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and farm goals. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Previous livestock or swine experience. Education/Experience Currently pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
