What your day looks like:
The Mill Laborer will be responsivle for general housekeeping duties of assigned mill and other tasks deemed necessary by mill management.
May be responsible for all or part of the following duties and responsibilities to be determined by the Mill Manager, Mill Supervisor, Mill Shift Supervisor:
Sweep and remove dust, debris, and spilled products throughout the facility.
Remove cobwebs by use of an air hose or extendable brush.
Responsible for cleanliness of the property and equipment stored outside.
Operate forklift/pallet jack to organize the warehouse bagged ingredient inventory.
Manage the storage of retained feed samples on a weekly basis.
Assist with quality assurance procedures such as: corn particle size testing, finished feed testing, grain and ingredient testing, and magnet checks/cleaning.
Articulate housekeeping findings into the Shrink database for accurate records.
Complete weekly and monthly audits for Safety, Environmental, and Quality.
ensure weekly mail and other items are available for courier pickup on designated day.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Who you are:
Minimum High School Diploma or GED
Previous work experience performing basic housekeeping duties
Organizational skills, initiative, and ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks
Flexible and adaptable to changing schedule
Ability to manage time effectively
Ability to climb ladders and work in high places
Ability to work in confined spaces
Ability to perform heavy lifting (maximum 80 pounds)
Ability to work in dusty conditions

2nd and 3rd shift positions are eligible for a $2/hour shift differential.
Weekend shift positions are eligible for a $3/hour shift differential.
