Description  We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A or B Truck Driver to join our team. If you are committed to safety, punctuality, and customer service, we encourage you to apply.  ResponsibilitiesTransport goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants, customer locations or directly to farms.Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenanceFollow delivery instructions to efficiently meet delivery schedules and ensure customer satisfactionDocument and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receiptsComply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and proceduresManeuver trucks into loading or unloading positionsHelp load and mix crop protection and fertilizer products.Report defects, accidents or violationsAssist production team when needed by operating plant equipment such as forklifts and loadersHelp maintain inventory of products
Requirements
Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver?s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.Ability to operate various types of trucks and equipment.Ability to communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner communication.Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.) Physical ability to load, unload, and handle cargo as needed.Ability to work overtime during our peak season.Must be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.Hazmat and tanker experience a plus!
Salary Description
$24.00 – $28.00 / Hour
