Mail Room & Inventory Associate?The American Hereford Association (AHA) is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team and contribute to daily operations. This position is full-time. ?The AHA, with headquarters in Kansas City, Mo., is one of the largest U.S. beef breed associations. The not-for-profit organization along with its subsidiaries – Certified Hereford Beef (CHB), Hereford Publications Inc. (HPI) and American Beef Records Association ? provides programs and services for its members and their customers, while promoting the Hereford breed and supporting education, youth and research. ?General Responsibility? Meter mail daily. ? Oversee all organization, as well as material storage and inventory of mail room supplies.? Occasional trip to post office and handle daily deposit at bank.? Prepare packages for external shipment and coordinate deliveries and pick-ups.? Execute fulfillment functions, such as assembly, packaging, shipping and tracking of kitted materials, including new member packets. ? Manage fulfillment functions for all Shop Hereford orders. ? Track and maintain promotional inventory for AHA, CHB and the Hereford Youth Foundation of America (HYFA).? Perform physical tasks as needed with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.? Maintain CHB ?point of sale? storage room and inform CHB staff of low inventories. ? Maintain accurate inventory records within Shopify for all products and point-of-sale materials. ? Perform monthly Shopify reconciliation and reporting to ensure inventory accuracy.?Qualifications and Skills? Strong attention to detail. ? Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.? Effective verbal and written communication skills. ?
