Production Planning Coordinator
Position repor ts to the Plant Manager. Employee filling this position is responsible accurate record keeping and computer information entry associated with Production Orders, reconciliation, and scheduling.
Utilizing SAP , shop floor , emails, the person filling this job creates daily production orders and distributes to supervisors and load out personal .
Schedules inbound appointments of trucks for raw receiving.
Yield tracking , inventory controls, sales volume scheduling.
Reviews daily Standard Operating Procedures and forwards relevant information to the appropriate manager or supervisor and load out team members.
Distributes Load sheets and pick up times via incoming mail.
Responsibility for Confidential Information: Must b e able to follow policies e g; company code of business ethics and conduct, Internet email usage policies and password protection policies along with all accompanying polices regarding company assets and information. Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required Work Experience: Prior computer skills a must Technical Skills: Must have experience with SAP, Shop Floor, Microsoft Word, Excel Language Skills: : Must possess the ability to communicate and/or read and understand documents such as production orders, PICK sheets, SOPS, safety rules, work rules, HACCP regulations, policy and/or procedure manuals. Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide as needed. Plant & Administrative SupportProvide direct support to the Plant ManagerMaintain and organize plant logs, records, and documentationPrepare reports, summaries, and presentations as neededAssist with scheduling, meetings, and daily coordinationPurchasing & PO ManagementCreate and submit purchase requisitionsReceive and process purchase orders (POs)Track orders and follow up with vendors and internal teamsEnsure accurate documentation and recordkeepingReporting & KPI TrackingPull and compile plant reportsTrack and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs)Assist in analyzing data and identifying trendsCommunication & CoordinationAct as a liaison between operations, HR, and leadershipSupport plant communication and engagement initiativesCoordinate plant events, meetings, and cross-functional activitiesHR SupportAssist with onboarding coordination and employee documentationCoordinate and schedule interviews with candidatesSupport HR-related administrative tasks within the plantQualificationsHigh school diploma1+ years of administrative, coordinator, or plant support experienceStrong organizational and multitasking skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to handle confidential information professionallyPreferred QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing or plant environmentFamiliarity with purchasing systems and PO processesExperience tracking KPIs or working with reportsBasic HR knowledge or experienceReporting StructureThis position reports directly to the Plant Manager and is also overseen by the HR supervisor.Work EnvironmentOn-site positionScheduleMonday through FridayOccasional Saturdays based on plant needs, projects, or engagement activitiesMust have flexibility to support business needs as requiredCompensation$19.00 – $24.00 per hour (based on experience) List all employment for the past five (5) years , including Full-time, part-time, temporary, contract, and seasonal roles, even if included on your resume.
