Discuss locally and with the different trading desks in Cargill globalConnect with the different merchants on feed demand and analyze and report the impacts on the market.Market Price AnalysisMonitor the different agricultural products' prices in key locationsMaintain and analyze daily cash prices and correlate them with commodity exchange futures pricesReport price changes in the various regions, more specifically on how price changes affect import and export economics.Positions and Trading Assist the Trading Manager in covering different areas of risk management including but not limited to:Hedging cash purchases. Trading futuresArbitrating between cash and futures, including delivery on the exchangeKeep trading position spread sheet updated (Long and Short)Keep Cargill global trading team fully informed on major developments in the China commodity exchanges, cash markets and general environment in ChinaWrite daily recaps on the different commodities traded and weekly recaps for the Chinese Risk Meeting on the different commodities tradedImport/Export businessDaily communication with Cargill global trading teams and customers regarding market developmentsConduct agency business for the different agricultural products.2027
