Job DescriptionARTCO Lineboat Cook – St. Louis, MOThis is a full-time, non-exempt level position.Position Summary:ADM is seeking a skilled cook to prepare and serve daily meals under the direction of a Captain on a lineboat at American River Transportation Company (ARTCo).Job Responsibilities:Provide balanced and nutritional meals at scheduled meal timesProvide fresh baked goods & desserts on a regular basisMaintain & order galley stores and supplies within the budget allowedMaintain organized and clean galley and personal areaObserve & execute proper personal and food service hygienePerform duties safely, efficiently and professionallyReport all injuries, illnesses, and near misses in a timely mannerContribute to general welfare of the crewAdditional duties and responsibilities as required or requestedJob Requirements:Promote the ADM Way and core ValuesAbility to follow direction and execute tasks under the supervision of captainWork well independently while contributing to the welfare of a team environmentHave a proven history of safe work behavior and a genuine desire for cookingAbility to manage the daily schedule necessary to provide required meals (generally not exceeding 12 hours per workday, except for holiday meals, which may require extra time)Operate and maintain various galley equipmentFollow crew change procedures and company policiesReading and writing skills sufficient to comprehend/complete a variety of documentsMust have reliable transportation and from your crew change locationWillingness to work a 28 days on and 28 days off scheduleCurrent Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card required.
