No matter what your role, you will be part of a team that is building the future of agriculture ? solving the world?s food problems through innovation, technology, and putting people first.?As a Material Planner your role is essential to sustaining food supply for future generations through the development of a raw material and packaging supply strategy to support production requirements. You will partner with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to establish resiliency plans, plan for materials supply ensuring proper visibility of the requirements and constraints, oversee the operations and lead the implementation of projects and initiatives that are key to the successful execution of the strategy. ?Your everyday actions allow us to ensure a reliable supply of crop protection products for our farmers ultimately enabling good food on your plate.What You?ll Do:?Work cross-functionally to build, maintain, communicate, and execute raw material and/or packaging inventory strategy for materials within your scope in the regionWill be responsible for balancing supply and demand for raw materials and/or packaging across multiple manufacturing sitesWill be accountable for determining and maintaining accurate master data for raw materials and/or packagingPartner with Procurement, R&D, and Regulatory to develop resiliency plans for single sourced co-formulants and packaging material within the regionProvide accurate raw material and packaging requirements forecasts, monitor supplier performance, and identify improvement opportunities with vendorsWill be responsible for the inventory accuracy and health of raw materials and packaging, providing direction for potential low-turn inventory or expired materialsRecommend volume split for allocated regional raw materialsServe as escalation point and crisis management support for any unresolved short-term raw material and/or packaging supply exceptionsWill be accountable for performance to support the production plan at each regional manufacturing siteParticipate in and/or lead supply chain projects within material planning scope of work?What Skills You Need: ?BS/BA in Supply Chain, Business Management, Sciences or Engineering, Procurement, or other supply related field and/or 5 years equivalent supply chain experienceUnderstanding of fundamental supply chain principles and concepts through education, professional training or on-the-job experience is highly preferredTechnical proficiency in the use of multiple computer applications and sound analytical skills are necessaryExperience with MRP processes is highly valuedContinuous improvement mindsetProject management experience is a plusWhat Makes You Stand Out:?The leadership to oversee an operation, identify improvement opportunities and lead through implementationThe courage to drive change cross functionallyThe capacity to bring clarity in complex situations and lead through supply issues resolutionThe ability to think strategically and proactively to build a raw material and/or packaging strategy considering relevant trends and constraintsThe aptitude to communicate effectively with internal and external partners both in written and verbal formBias for action and willingness to challenge the status quoBenefits ?
