“We are deeply grateful to Tractor Supply Co for helping us to accomplish our mission with their gift card that we used to purchase goat fencing and tack, that will help us utilize our land and maintain our herds in a sustainable and productive way. This company clearly cares about the sacrifice of our nation’s veterans as well as the stewardship of our most important resource, our land.”

Joshua Morris spent a career in the U.S. Army Infantry doing every job from rifleman to Ranger instructor to infantry company commander, served in the 1st Ranger Battalion, 173rd Airborne, and did multiple deployments including parachuting into Iraq in March of 2003 for Operation Iraqi Freedom. He later became an Engineer Officer and retired near Fort Leonard Wood Missouri where he and his wife Chiara, a native of Italy, along with their three children, founded Cold Spring Farm, LLC, on 360 acres in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks. They raise registered Angus beef cattle, registered Boer goats, as well as producing high quality grass hay and hardwood timber.

Joshua is inspired to live a better life by the memory of his fallen comrades in the U.S. Infantry and Ranger Communities and the entire U.S. military. They gave everything so that we could have freedom, security, and the important things in life. Their memory is always there to urge you to drive on and complete your mission no matter how difficult. At Cold Spring Farm the mission is to help feed our country while caring for the land.
