The Holstein Association seeks dynamic, innovative, and talented Regional Sales Representatives for the territory of Texas, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico. Job Purpose:Promotes and sells Holstein Association USA products and services to current and prospective customers to help the Association achieve its annual sales and revenue goals. Position Summary:The Regional Sales Representative serves as the primary on-farm ambassador for Holstein Association USA within the assigned territory. Residence withing the assigned territory is required. The role is responsible for building strong member relationships and driving revenue growth through consultative sales of Holstein Association products and services. The representative works directly with dairy producers to understand their operations and goals, recommending solutions that support herd profitability, data accuracy, genetic progress, and the Association’s strategic objectives. In addition, this position leads direct sales efforts for AgriTech Analytics by actively engaging with dairy producers and with the DHIA community. Working collaboratively with Holstein Association USA Regional Representatives, marketing staff, and organizational leadership, this role supports strategic marketing initiatives, enhances industry visibility, and positions AgriTech Analytics as a trusted, solutions-driven partner in dairy records processing. HAUSA Regional Sales Representative Responsibilities (70%): Sales & Revenue GrowthAchieve annual sales and revenue targets by promoting and selling the full portfolio of Holstein Association USA products and services.Use a consultative sales approach to match products and services to individual herd goals, improving both short-term results and long-term herd profitability.Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing members. Member Engagement & Territory ManagementServe as the primary point of contact and advisor for members within the assigned territory.Develop and execute a territory plan that prioritizes growth opportunities, retention, and market penetration.Build and maintain a strong network of industry relationships, including breeders, allied industry partners, and influencers. Industry Presence & PromotionRepresent Holstein Association USA at shows, sales, member meetings, seminars, trade shows, and industry conferences as directed.Promote awareness and understanding of Association programs, services, and value within the dairy industry. Product Knowledge & Professional DevelopmentMaintain strong working knowledge of Holstein Association USA software, services, and emerging technologies.Stay current on dairy genetics, herd management trends, and industry developments.Continuously develop sales, communication, and technical skills through training and self-directed learning. Internal Collaboration & FeedbackProvide regular field feedback to product managers and internal teams to help improve existing products and inform new service development.Work collaboratively with other Holstein Association staff, providing field support when needed.Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach when addressing questions, concerns, or criticism related to Association operations or services. AgriTech Analytics Sales and Marketing Responsibilities (30%): Primary ResponsibilitiesConduct direct sales calls with dairy producers to secure new accounts while maintaining, servicing, and supporting existing clients.Remain current on DHIA industry trends, technologies, and developments, and cultivate strong professional relationships within the DHIA community.Network within the dairy industry to build awareness, enthusiasm, and support for services, reports, and value-added offerings.Collaborate with Holstein Association USA Regional Representatives nationwide to promote services, including providing product training and accompanying Regional Sales Representatives on farm visits with prospective clients.Represent the organization at industry meetings, trade shows, and events as directed by the General Manager.Partner with Holstein Association USA communications and marketing staff and the General Manager to develop and execute an annual strategic marketing plan. Education and Experience:BS in Dairy Science, Animal Science, Business or related field, preferred3+ years of relevant experience in sales, dairy production, genetics, marketing or related industry, preferred Competencies:Must have valid driver’s license and insurable driving recordAbility to travel frequently throughout the assigned territory, with travel expected approximately 60–75% of the timeAbility to work occasional weekends as neededStrong understanding of dairy cattle management, genetics, and registered Holstein dairy businessDemonstrated sales ability with a results-driven mindsetExcellent communication skills, including listening, written, and verbalStrong organizational, time management, and territory planning skillsProficiency with computers, CRM tools, dairy management softwareAbility to evaluate cattle and communicate genetic and management concepts effectivelyProfessional, positive, and enthusiastic attitudeAbility to build rapport with a wide range of dairy producers and industry partners Salary Range:$62,000 – $70,000 depending on related sales and dairy industry experience Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
