While each role adheres to the Leadership Principles, individual roles may focus more on a specific principle or principles.We are customer obsessed – By understanding their needs and leveraging insights, we drive mutual success.We think big and plan ahead – We take smart risks, innovate, and refine processes for long-term success.We bring out the best in our people – Inclusion, trust, and empowerment help our people thrive.We act like owners – We clear obstacles and own our work, together. Statement of JobSupervise and execute daily production activities by leading employees, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and safety standards to achieve production goals in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee daily production line operations to meet production, quality, and safety targetsWork as a hands-on, working supervisor alongside production teamsAssign work, monitor performance, and address personnel or operational issues proactivelyEnsure compliance with GMPs, food safety programs, quality standards, and safety proceduresIdentify and resolve production issues, bottlenecks, and equipment or resource constraintsEnsure materials, equipment, and staffing are available to meet production schedulesReview production orders and ensure schedules and output requirements are achievedMaintain accurate and timely completion of daily manufacturing and production documentationCommunicate schedules, changes, and expectations clearly to production employeesMaintain housekeeping standards and enforce safe work practicesDemonstrate strong leadership, work ethic, and positive influence on team members Own the Daily Direction Setting process, including:Developing and executing the Plan for the Day and shift handoffsMonitoring the health of the CIL systemSupporting planned stops and continuous improvement initiativesPerform other duties as assigned Special RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredFour-year degree and/or five years of production experience preferredMinimum two years of supervisory experience, preferably in food manufacturingAbility to adapt to changing production demands and schedulesBasic computer proficiencyStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of basic mathematics and troubleshooting techniquesAbility to work safely within manufacturing operating conditionsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, perform repetitive movements, wear PPE, and work in varied temperature environments The McCain ExperienceWe are McCain: this statement is about our power collectively and our importance individually—your impact is a significant part of the business.
