Human Resources Business PartnerAre you passionate about engaging with people and making a difference in their employee experience?The Human Resources Business Partner is a key member of the HR Service Delivery team, providing support and guidance to employees and leaders. This individual will be instrumental in resolving complex issues, related to HR processes and/or services. They will serve as a trusted consultant to internal colleagues and stakeholders and will be key in developing recommendations for continuous improvement. This individual will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be agile to changing employee needs.This position is located at our Arden Hills Corporate Headquarters (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in office each week)ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESConsult and collaborate:Partners with Business Advisors to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate HR strategies for maximum impactCollaborates with local, regional, and corporate based HR teams to achieve team, location or plant objectivesAdvises and coaches employees and managers in HR functions and on performanceProactively collaborates with colleagues across HR on issue root cause analysis, issue resolution and solution deliveryPartners with People Leaders, COEs and Business Advisors to reach key insight through analysis of employee data supporting talent management activitiesCoaches leaders on performance issuesProvides training on policies, procedures, and learning and development curriculumContinuous improvement:Proactively analyzes and maintains dashboards and develops recommendations to inform HR service delivery leadership to drive improvementLeads strategic recommendations to HR service delivery leadershipContinually evaluate and explore unique ways of meeting goals based on market changes, employee needs and location challengesProvides support across the HR function:Supports complex, business-oriented Workday transactions including job changes, promotions, and restructuresPartners closely with subject matter experts on complex issues to find meaningful solutionsLeads initiatives to foster positive employee relations, an engaged workforce, and a positive culture.Coaches leaders on fair and best practices while applying disciplinary actions and improvement plans.Partners with leadership to be consistent and fair while applying disciplinary actions and improvement plans.Leads efforts around employee complaints through investigations, researching issues, managing Connect Call responses, and partnering with outside experts, as needed.Required Education Experience, KnowledgeUndergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and 3 years+ as an HR Business Partner/Manager or 1+ years working as an HR Business Partner/Manager, possessing a master's degree. In lieu of a degree, candidate must possess 5+ years of HR Generalist/HR Business Partner in experience.General knowledge base of Minnesota Labor Laws and ability to partner with Land O'Lakes resources on pending legislation.Experience developing, building, and maintaining strong business partnerships.Your Skillset to Succeed:Ability to build authentic personal relationships of trust as a dependable partner.Strong communication skills (in both small and large groups) and ability to influence, lead, and drive change in a complex environment.Ability to effectively collaborate with HR resource teams to achieve business objectives.Strong verbal and written communication and presentation and facilitation skills. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Hours: Traditional M-F (with ability to flex schedule when needed for business support)$81,200-$121,800.
In most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges. Grade:E9
