Pay Rate: $33.00 per hourCompany: Richardson InternationalPosition SummaryThe Mechanic / Industrial Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing, production, and packaging equipment. This role supports safe, efficient operations by maintaining equipment reliability and minimizing downtime in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily industrial maintenance and repairs on production and packaging equipment, including extruders, dryers, conveying systems, pneumatic systems, highspeed packaging equipment, cartoners, baggers, case packers, palletizers, boilers, heaters, material handling systems, chillers, compressed air systems, and HVACTroubleshoot mechanical failures involving motors, bearings, gearboxes, belts, chains, and power transmission componentsComplete preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance work ordersWork with Operations to reduce downtime, improve equipment reliability, and support continuous improvementFollow all safety, food manufacturing, and plant proceduresOther duties as assignedRequired Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED and one of the following:Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, ElectroMechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial MaintenanceCompleted apprenticeshipRelevant military maintenance experience2+ years experience as a Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or Manufacturing Maintenance TechnicianPreferred QualificationsMaintenance experience in food manufacturing or industrial manufacturingAbility to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematicsWelding experience (MIG, TIG, stick)Experience with machine tools (lathes, drill presses, Bridgeporttype mills)Forklift, scissor lift, and articulated lift experiencePhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb laddersAbility to work in hot, cold, humid, and dusty manufacturing environmentsAbility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as requiredCompensation & Benefits$33.00 per hourCompetitive benefits package including:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Paid time off and paid holidaysTraining and career development opportunities
