This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on cattle professional who combines strong livestock management experience with organizational, communication, and computer skills. The employer is seeking an individual capable of helping lead and organize a growing cattle operation while working directly alongside ownership and existing staff.The operation is well established and continues to grow, creating the need for a stronger management structure focused on improving operational oversight, accountability, communication, cattle performance tracking, and day-to-day management of the livestock division.Position ResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibilities will focus on the cattle side of the operation and include:Overseeing day-to-day cattle operationsManaging and supervising cattle employeesReading bunks and monitoring feed programsMonitoring cattle health and treatment protocolsAssisting with receiving, processing, doctoring, and shipping cattleMaintaining accurate livestock and operational recordsUtilizing spreadsheets, software systems, and reporting toolsProviding operational and financial reporting to ownershipAssisting with inventory tracking and performance analysisCoordinating pasture and cattle movement activitiesHelping improve accountability, communication, and operational efficiency throughout the livestock divisionThis is intended to be a hands-on working manager role, not strictly an office position.
