MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESLead and coordinate daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while meeting production throughput, quality, and laborutilizationtargets.Supervise, coach, and develop frontline employees through performance management, training, communication, and employee engagement initiatives.Monitor production, quality, and safety performance metrics;identifyopportunities for continuous improvement and support implementation of Lean manufacturing and operational improvement initiatives.Partner with Safety, Quality, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams tomaintaincompliance with food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety standards, including participation in audits, investigations, and corrective actions.Lead shift communications, team huddles, and operational coordination activities while supporting emergency response efforts andmaintainingaccurateoperational documentation and reporting.MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSEducation:High School diploma or GEDrequired.Experience:Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environmentMinimum 3 years of manufacturing experience preferredProficiencywith Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs requirePREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLSAssociate degree in manufacturing, industrial technology, engineering, or related technical field preferredPreviousexperience in food manufacturing or high-speed production environments preferredExperience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, orbehavior-based safety programs preferredStrong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environmentPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands listed below are representative of thoserequiredto successfully perform this role.
