Delivery & Farm Operations Team Member?Pleasant View Farms, a fifth-generation family-owned farm in Somers, Connecticut, is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our team as a Delivery & Farm Operations Team Member.?This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, staying active, and being part of a growing agricultural operation. No two days are the same. One day may involve delivering hay and feed to customers, while the next could be spent helping harvest hay and straw, operating farm equipment, maintaining facilities, or assisting with general farm operations.?We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is willing to learn, and understands that agriculture often requires flexibility and long hours during busy seasons.?Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver hay, straw, feed, and agricultural products to customersLoad and unload trucks safely and efficientlyAssist with hay and straw production and harvest operationsOperate tractors, loaders, and other farm equipmentPerform routine equipment maintenance, greasing, cleaning, and inspectionsAssist with general farm maintenance and daily operationsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentRepresent Pleasant View Farms professionally when interacting with customers?What We're Looking ForStrong work ethic and positive attitudePhysically fit and capable of performing manual labor in all weather conditionsDependable, punctual, and responsibleWillingness to work extended hours during hay and harvest seasons when weather conditions require itAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMechanical aptitude and equipment experience preferredAgricultural, trucking, landscaping, construction, or heavy equipment experience is a plusCDL is preferred but not requiredWillingness to learn and take on new responsibilities?Work EnvironmentThis position involves working outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions. Employees regularly work around trucks, tractors, loaders, hay equipment, livestock, and other agricultural machinery.
