Our Stock Room Operator will be responsible for accurately issuing, receiving, and maintaining records of maintenance and repair parts to support efficient maintenance operations and minimize equipment downtime. Maintains optimal inventory levels through effective stock control and inventory monitoring. Receives, organizes, and replenishes maintenance materials and components, including motors, wire belting, plastic belting, and other critical spare parts, ensuring timely availability for maintenance and production needs. This role will require a working schedule on day shift: 6am to 6pm 12hour rotating schedule. Accountabilities: Issue parts as fast and accurately as possible to eliminate unnecessary downtime or overtime needed to repair or maintain company equipment.  Inventory supplies on shelf to maintain accurate record and ensure supplies are available to maintain equipment.  Assists in purchasing supplies.  Inspect all new hazardous materials for current MSDS’s and proper labeling.  Maintain orderly and sanitary work area.  Prepare and write reports as required.  Strictly adhere to all company and plant policies concerning safety, follow all company procedures for LOTO, use proper lifting techniques, and wear all personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Adhere to all company and plant related GMP’s.  Adhere to all company and plant policies, work rules and procedures.  Adhere to safety program and participate in behavioral observation program. Accurately record all transactions and enter in SAP on a daily basis  Other Job Duties: Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.  Work Environment:Works in an industrial manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to elevated and high-precarious work areas, requiring strict adherence to safety procedures and fall-protection guidelines.Occasionally works near moving mechanical equipment and may be exposed to fumes, dust, and airborne particles while performing maintenance support activities.Operates in a high-noise environment requiring the consistent use of hearing protection and other required personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe workplace. Qualifications:High School diploma or (GED), or equivalent combination of education and related experience.  Must have ability to read and interpret company policy and procedure, safety rules, equipment operation and maintenance instructions.  Must have ability to prepare and write routine reports and correspondence and operate personal computer and keyboard.  Must have basic math skills  and ability to convert standard lengths into metric measurements.Employee must occasional lift, push, pull or move up to 30 lbs.     About McCain At McCain, we’re feeding the world: from French fries to cakes, we contribute to the important role food plays in people's lives.
