Procurement Specialist – 1022934

Reporting to the Manager of Procurement, you will manage the purchasing of food chemical ingredient materials while balancing price, quality, logistics, supplier reliability, and supply continuity. You will be accountable for research, high-level issue resolution, negotiations, master data analysis, transaction processing, and report development. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify and support process improvement opportunities.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesDevelop and apply an understanding of market dynamics, cost drivers, and logistics related to food chemical ingredientsDevelop and apply an understanding of company facilities, requirements, capabilities, processes, and constraintsBuild and maintain relationships with suppliers and multiple cross-functional business partnersSupport business process improvements and documentation effortsDevelop an understanding of SAP material requirements planning processes and dataManage procurement master data in SAP and leverage applicable systems to help guide process efficienciesRelease requests for proposal and negotiate and execute contracts aligned to category strategiesDrive digital adoption by learning, applying, and continuously improving procurement tools and analytics (for example, SAP, material requirements planning, and Power BI) to increase efficiency and decision qualityProvide research and analytical support for different issues and ad hoc projects across the procurement organizationIngredients Required for Your SuccessBachelor's degreeTwo or more years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, commodity trade, or finance rolesComfortable presenting information to all levels within the organizationStrategic thinking and critical evaluation of complex issuesIntermediate Excel experienceExperience with SAP and data visualization tools is preferredIn the Omaha office three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday#LI-PM2#LI-Hybrid#LI-AssociateCompensation Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.
