This role supports the development and execution of the plant’s health, safety, and security agenda, focusing on continuous improvement, injury prevention, regulatory compliance, and employee training. The position assists in audits, inspections, incident investigations, and maintaining OSHA/OH&S programs to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. What you’ll be doingConduct daily compliance activities, KES inspections, and health & safety audits.Support incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action planning.Maintain OSHA/OH&S programs, documentation, and required annual reviews.Analyze safety data to identify trends, training needs, and improvement opportunities.Deliver health & safety training and collaborate with leadership and safety committees. What you’ll need to be successfulAssociate or Bachelor’s degree required; safety certifications (CSP, ASP, etc.) preferred.Minimum 3 years of health & safety experience required; ISO systems experience a plus.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn EMIS platforms (e.g., Intelex). Physical DemandsRegular walking and movement throughout the facility during inspections.Occasional bending, kneeling, climbing, or accessing elevated areas.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed for safety evaluations.Extended periods of computer work for reporting and documentation.Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
