This position will strengthen analytical capabilities, provide financial and decision support to enterprise-wide go-to-market (GTM) initiatives and help drive volume and margin growth opportunities across the CHS enterprise. The individual must have strong data, systems and analytical skills, project management skills, and be comfortable working in a matrixed organization. This role will partner with CHS’ go-to-market (GTM) business and leadership team. The ideal candidate combines strong financial and business acumens with business partnering excellence, helping customer-facing teams make informed decisions to meet volume, margin and customer objectives. The role will report to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, Enterprise Customer Development.ResponsibilitiesLead team of finance professionals supporting the GTM business and leadership teamAlign finance associates to support enterprise wide GTM initiatives, ensuring optimal support and serviceReview work products prepared by team members to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to highest standards, providing constructive feedback and coachingSupport the development of team members by sharing best practices, building technical and process knowledge, and increasing overall team capability and resiliencyAct as a role model for ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement, fostering a collaborative and high-performance reporting culture within the team.Strengthen GTM and FP&A analytical capabilitiesLead financial and analytical support for enterprise-level GTM initiatives from design to implementation to align GTM strategies with the company’s objectives; Partner with business and function leaders across the company to ensure successful execution once initiatives are launchedPartner with GTM leaders to develop success metrics, and implementation plans; Establish timelines, monitor progress and evaluate ROIAnalyze volume and margin performance by customer or customer segment; providing insights that clearly highlight risks and opportunities with recommended actionsBuild scalable financial models that support scenario planning with sensitivity analysesSupport GTM initiatives to identify volume and margin growth opportunities across businessDevelop GTM reports to enable identification of sales and margin optimization opportunities for our wholesale and retail operationsPartner with Strategy team for market trends and industry benchmarks to gather findings and insights that can be leveraged to improve GTM decision-making capabilities with formal communication to leadersProvide actionable insights, financial counsel to drive more favorable mix from focus products across the companySupport ad hoc initiatives aligned with enterprise wide GTM strategic objectivesMinimum Qualifications (required)Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, or related field4+ years of financial management experience including strategic and business planning, accounting, financial analysis, and project managementExperience with team leadership, talent engagement and developmentAdditional QualificationsMBA/CPA/CMAOutstanding verbal and written communication skills across organization and to senior leadersExperience with data visualization tools, SAP/BPC and CRM softwareConfirmed proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and forecastingDemonstrated learning agility with the ability to understand complex business problemsExperienced user of ERP systems and forecasting tools as well as strong experience working with various types of data and informationExcellent organizational skills, ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks at onceAbility to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organizationExperience with predictive and prescriptive analyticsPrevious experience providing financial support to sales and sales support teamPre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position.
