Job DescriptionSenior Director Global CRM – Erlanger, KY or Chicago, ILRole PurposeThis role drives transformation of commercial capabilities through Salesforce-enabling standardized processes, advanced analytics, and scalable growth. The role operates at the intersection of business strategy, digital transformation, and operational execution, with enterprise-wide influence across regions and functions. As the global owner of the Salesforce platform as a critical commercial asset, the role is accountable for defining and delivering the CRM vision, strategy, and operating model across the enterprise.Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise CRM Vision & StrategyDefine and own the global Salesforce CRM strategy as part of the commercial excellence and digital transformation agendaPosition Salesforce as a core revenue-generating platform, not just a system of recordOwn and update a multi-year roadmap aligned with growth, customer engagement, and go-to-market priorities to incorporate desired future capabilitiesAct as the executive sponsor for CRM transformation initiativesGlobal Operating Model & GovernanceDesign and implement the global CRM operating model, including governance, decision rightsDrive prioritization and investment decisionsEnforce standardized global processes while enabling controlled regional flexibilityEnsure compliance with data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirementsProduct Ownership & Delivery OversightOwn the global Salesforce product portfolio and investment roadmapOversee prioritization of initiatives, balancing global scale with regional needsEnsure high-quality delivery through strong partnership with GT and external vendorsDrive adoption of agile methodologies and product-centric ways of workingManage and prioritize the product backlog and communicate priorities to the Product OwnersReview and accept features as complete, coordinating with the Product Owner for release readinessValue Realization & Performance ManagementDefine and track value realization metrics tied to CRM investments (e.g., revenue uplift, sales productivity, etc)Ensure Salesforce delivers measurable business outcomes, not just system enhancementsDrive a performance culture through data transparency and actionable insightsEcosystem & IntegrationDrive simplification and rationalization of the CRM ecosystem globallyEvaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance commercial capabilitiesCross-Functional Collaboration and ExecutionPartner with senior commercial leaders (P&L, Sales, Marketing, Finance) to align CRM with strategic prioritiesAct as the primary escalation point for CRM-related business decisions globallyInfluence regional leadership to adopt standardized processes and drive behavioral changePartner with data and analytics teams to elevate CRM to a decision engineLeadershipLeads a team of salesforce product ownersCompetenciesLeadership: Ability to operate and influence at executive levelStrategic Orientation: Translates business strategy into scalable platform capabilitiesTransformation Mindset: Drives large-scale change across people, process, and technologyStakeholder Influence: Navigates complexity and aligns diverse global stakeholdersData & Digital Fluency: Leverages data, automation, and AI to drive performanceOperational Discipline: Balances strategic vision with execution rigorQualifications & Experience12-15+ years of experience in CRM leadership, commercial excellence, sales operations, or digital transformationProven track record of leading global CRM or Salesforce transformations at scaleDeep expertise in Salesforce ecosystem (multi-cloud and platform strategy experience preferred)Experience operating in complex, matrixed, multinational organizationsStrong commercial acumen with understanding of end-to-end GTM processesExperience managing budgets and global teamsExcited about this role but don't think you meet every requirement listed?
