Production Support – Fresh Cheese – 1st ShiftUnder direction of the Creamery Supervisor and other Fresh Cheese leadership staff, the Fresh Cheese Production Worker is responsible for processing cheese, operating machines, packing, boxing, and cleaning. Duties include performing one or more packaging functions such as boxing, running filling line and cranking, while following company GMPs, Safety, and Quality programs.Location city, state: Websterville, VTHours: 1st Shift Mon-Fri 5AM – 1:30PM; overtime as needed.Wage: $20.60 per hourRequired Qualifications & Experiences:18 years or olderBasic computer skills.Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and possess basic mathematical skillsPreferred Qualifications & Experiences:1+ years of continuous prior experience in any industrySelf-Reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervisionAble to trouble shoot mechanical problemsCommunicates work order progress to supervisor and production operatorsCustomer focused and able to work in a collaborative teamAbility to be flexible in work performed and scheduleAbility to follow manufacturer's specifications and directionsAble to work in a fast-paced environmentWork in cold and/or hot temperatures throughout the dayAdhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs)Ensures a safe working environment while performing assigned tasksPhysical Requirements for production positions regularly include:Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movementsPerforming duties while wearing personal protective equipmentWorking across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is presentShift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtimeGrade:Prod
